These photos tell the story of Roxane and Colin’s wedding day in Canmore, a beautiful small town between Calgary and Banff surrounded by the Canadian Rockies. As local Calgary and Banff Wedding Photographers, we have the privilege to work in such a fantastic location. The wedding itself was an unforgettable experience for us. The real emotions, funny stories, tears of happiness, and lots of love fulfilled the day, the day that will last in our memories for a long, long time.
As usual, we started our work early in the morning to capture all the great candid moments during the bride and groom’s preps. Most of the morning I (Eliza) spent with Roxane, the girls, and the incredible @mountainbeauties team (HMUA) while Lukas was with Colin and his ‘supporting team’. The getting ready time is the only part of the day that we do not work together as we do not want to miss any crucial moments.
The ceremony and reception took place at Cornerstore Theatre, a stunning wooden-style barn venue. After Roxane and Colin had exchanged the vows, we took them and their bridal party to Canmore Engine Bridge for the formal photo session, where we all had a blast. The weather did not disappoint us. The morning’s smoke surprisingly disappeared, and the mountains were showing off their beauty.
