Martha and Alex contacted 4Eyes Photography while searching for photographers for their Wedding in Kananaskis Country.  During our first zoom meeting, we discussed all the details and ideas as well as the mountain locations for their unique wedding photo sessions.

After a small, private ceremony, we met at the Pomeroy Hotel in Kananaskis Country, where we took dark and moody photographs. We started our day with shooting in the black limo, then we went to a hotel room for a little “re-touch,” and finally we drove to the stunning locations that we chose together.

For the mountain wedding locations, we agreed on Wedge Pond and Barrier Lake in Kananaskis Country.

Wedge Pond, located in Kananaskis Country, was an excellent choice for winter wedding photography. The lake was still frozen and covered with plenty of snow which gave us mysterious and magical scenery on their special day.  When we reached our second location – Barrier Lake in Kananaskis, the sky cleared out, and the sun helped us capture the location’s beauty. We were all thrilled to see the mighty Rocky Mountains. The view was to die for!

It was a successful day, filled with laughter, joy and celebration. Martha and Alex were straightforward to photograph, extremely friendly, funny and cheerful newlyweds who made that day smooth and unforgettable for us as Calgary Wedding Photographers.
