The lovely couple we photographed decided to have their engagement session at Minnewanka Lake, and Lake Louise.

We woke up super early to catch the sunrise, and boy, was it worth it! As the sun rose, the sky was painted with the most vibrant orange, pink, and purple hues. It was like a scene straight out of a fairytale. The lake reflected the vibrant colours, creating this ethereal and dreamy atmosphere. We knew right then that we were in for a treat.

As we started the photo session, the couple was all dressed up and ready to go. The way they looked at each other was pure magic – you could truly feel the love and excitement in the air. We explored the area around Minnewanka Lake, capturing their love story amidst the stunning mountain backdrop and the tranquil waters. They were so natural in front of the camera it almost felt like we weren’t even there.

After capturing some incredible shots at Minnewanka Lake, we embarked on a bit of adventure and headed toward Lake Louise. Can you believe it? Canoeing at Lake Louise during the golden hour was an experience like no other. The calmness of the lake, the majestic mountains surrounding us, and the soft, warm light were all perfect elements for their photo session.

Overall, it was an incredible engagement session filled with love, laughter and some of nature’s most breathtaking backdrops. I’ve been buzzing with excitement ever since, and I can’t wait to show the couple the final results.
